This vintage gem got her groove back!
 
The black (custom) dial on this piece brings it back to life with a modern, chic twist. A 34mm piece that looks great on anyone and for any occasion.
 
Original AirKing Date model Ref. 5700, Rolex automatic movement.
Serial #: 2'762***. 
 
Caliber 1520 with 26 jewels, shock protected, movement is in full working order and date of last service is unknown (it needs service at the moment). Classic Stainless Steel case 34 mm diameter without its Rolex crown, with original Smooth Stainless Steel Bezel bezel and screw-in crown. Screw-down caseback is signed inside. Its hands have been changed since its previous ones were useless, and they are not original, since the ones original to the watch were not found.
 
Year of production is 1969.
 
Dial is black with stick numerals; date displayed is at 3 o'clock position. Signed 'Rolex Oyster Perpetual, AirKing Date, Precision, Swiss Made'. 
Dial as mentioned before, it has been customized. This means it has been painted over the original dial of the watch to create a more aesthetically pleasing timepiece.
